Dr. HU Xiaobing


Xiao-Bing Hu received the B.S. degree in aviation electronic engineering from the Civil Aviation Institute of China, Tianjin, China, in 1998, the M.S. degree in automatic control engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China, in 2001, and the Ph.D. degree in aeronautical and automotive engineering from Loughborough University, Leicestershire, U.K., in 2005.
He has published nearly 100 papers in journals, conferences and books. As PI, he has won over 10 research grants so far, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (“A New Method to Calculate Complete Pareto Front for Multi-objective Optimization”, Grant No. 61472041), European Union Framework Programme 7 (“Integrated Risk Governance via Spatial Complexity Inspired Models and Algorithms”, Gratn No. FP7-PEOPLE-2011-IOF-299725), and the Civil Aviation Administration of China (“Comprehensive Assessment of Meteorological Disaster Risk of Chinese Civil Aviation System”).
